Frequently asked questions

Answers about booking, treatments, prices and the practical details of a visit.

General

Where is Keveys located, and is the space accessible?

Our studio is at Kangasalantie 6, 00550 Helsinki, in the Vallila district. Please note that there are three steps at the entrance (a handrail is available) and the toilet is not wheelchair-accessible. If getting around is difficult, ask us about a home visit.

Do you make home visits?

Yes. Both physiotherapy and foot care are available as home visits. A home visit costs €85 for 60 minutes within the local area, meaning a 2 km radius of our studio on Kangasalantie. For visits further afield the price is assessed case by case based on distance and travel time. Book a home visit on 044 971 1185 or by email at info@keveys.fi.

Do I need a referral for physiotherapy?

No referral is needed. You can book directly through the online booking system, or contact us by phone or email.

How do I order a gift card?

You can order a gift card through the form on our website, either for a specific treatment or for a value of your choosing. We send the digital gift card and a payment reference to your email within 24 hours of ordering. The card is activated once the payment registers in our system. Gift cards are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

Booking and practicalities

When is Keveys open?

We are open by appointment, so we do not keep fixed opening hours. You can see available times in real time in the online booking system. While treatments are in progress the doors are locked — when you arrive, ring the doorbell and wait a moment and we will let you in.

How long an appointment should I book for a first visit?

A 60-minute slot is usually the right choice for a first visit. If you are weighing up two services of different lengths, pick the longer one: we assess what you need when you arrive and deliver the treatment accordingly.

How do I cancel an appointment?

Cancellations by 6 pm the previous evening at the latest, either by calling 044 971 1185 or by emailing info@keveys.fi. Through the online booking system you can cancel up to 24 hours before your appointment. A missed appointment that is not cancelled is charged at the price-list rate.

What should I bring or prepare before my visit?

When booking, tell us briefly what is troubling you and mention any underlying conditions and medication. If you are coming for a gait or running analysis or a lower-limb pain assessment, bring the shoes you wear most often — the cause is frequently found in them. For physiotherapy, wear something flexible enough to move in.

Physiotherapy

What is fascia treatment and who is it for?

We deliver fascia treatment as MyFascia therapy. It locates the problem areas behind the pain and systematically releases them with trigger-point techniques, following the fascial lines. It suits both acute and chronic pain and works well as preventive maintenance. We recommend 60 minutes for a first appointment. The price is €65–95 depending on the length of the session.

Foot therapy

Can I come for foot therapy if I have diabetes or a rheumatic condition?

Yes. Our podiatrist Mira has worked closely with special and at-risk groups throughout her career, including people with diabetes, rheumatic disease and skin conditions. Mention your underlying conditions and medication when booking so we can reserve enough time.

TRE method

Who is the TRE method for?

TRE (Tension, Stress & Trauma Releasing Exercises) is an easy-to-learn, natural and effective self-care method — for releasing stress, for relaxation, and for recovery after exercise.

Shall we book you a time?
